UK Youth Parliament makes the FRONT PAGE!!!!!!!

Our Sex and Relationships (SRE) Campaign made the front page of The Times on Tuesday 4^th December 2007!!!!!!!It also featured in The Guardian (Comment and Debate), the BBC and the Telegraph!!! To see the articles please check out BBC online and the links below!!! This huge press interest is a result of all of our Members of Youth Parliament’s incredible work on this campaign. So far some of our supporters in this campaign are; the NSPCC, Brook, Terrence Higgins Trust, Save the Children, the National Union of Teachers, MPs from all parties AND (wait for it…) Davina McCall and Dannii Minogue. MYPs are met with Jim Knight (Schools Minister) on Thursday 6^th December to discuss the SRE report and push for SRE to become a statutory part of PSHE in schools. Let’s hope the Government listens to us – more info to follow soon!
