Over 30 MPs and their young counterparts (Members of Youth Parliament) attended the launch of a mass consultation on tuition fees yesterday. The consultation, designed by young people for young people, is seeking the views of over 10,000 young people on university costs.
The Dudley Youth Council has launched a new website aimed at the young people in Dudley, but it also contains info for adults, youth workers and parents. The website is: www.dudleyyouthcouncil.co.uk

Haven't had much time to work the website recently, but I'm hoping to have things that I can do from my end wrapped up by the regional meeting on September 1st 07. I've made the following updates this week:
Just thought I'd updated everyone on whats happening with the "@www.ukypwm.org.uk" email system I promised a few months back.
I should hopefully be meeting Alison from g:up (the people who've provided hosting and training for our site) on Tuesday 21st August and I'll get DNS and FTP details from her (fingers-crossed that she has them) so that I can configure the system. It will be powered by Google Mail (2GB inbox space, clean interface etc...) and we'll have up to 300 accounts to create.
The West Midlands Youth Parliament has waited 4 years to get a website! It is thanks to our work with G: Up that this has been possible. We now have a website and we are working on setting it all up! This site will be able to grow and grow but in the first place we want to try to make sure that people logging on here know who we are, what we do and some ways that they can get involved locally and maybe even on a regional level. We plan to have links to local youth forums and youth councils as well as links to youth projects across the region. We hope that this becomes
